We’re a supplier of security cameras, actively seeking proficient teams or individuals with expertise in sales and installing CCTV and WiFi security systems for commercial and residential settings. Your main responsibilities will include efficiently sales and running network wires and securely mounting cameras and related devices.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an On-Call Salesperson with Installation Technician responsibilities on an independent contractor basis. This role requires a combination of sales skills and technical expertise to promote and install our products/services as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Responsibilities:
- Prospect and engage potential customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products/services.
- Conduct demonstrations and presentations to showcase product features and benefits.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales with clients.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Installation Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide installation and setup services for our products/services at customer locations.
- Ensure installations are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during installations and provide solutions promptly.
- Train customers on the use and maintenance of installed products/services.
- Offer technical support and assistance as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a field related to our industry.
- Technical background with experience in product installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and availability to travel to customer locations as needed.
- Own tools and equipment necessary for installations.
- Flexibility to work on-call and respond promptly to service requests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in relevant technical fields (e.g., electrical, mechanical, IT).
- Previous experience as an independent contractor or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of our specific industry products/services.
Additional Information: This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to earn income based on assignments. Contractors will be responsible for their own taxes and insurance.
